I read the new version of the paper. The authors have done substantial changes following reviewers' comments. The paper now is enough ready for publication. It needs minor corrections. In the uploaded copy of the paper I added some remarks by sticky notes.

The newly added subchapter and appendices seem helpful.

In conclusion, what type of remotely sensed data could be integrated (airborne, space-based, hyperspectral, etc.)? Remote sensing would be valuable if it can retrieve accurate info, without having to collect soil samples manually in vast areas, but you might want to be a little more specific.
