The authors report a comprehensive study to obtain CQDs-modified Bi₄Ti₃O₁₂ square 3 plates with enhanced photocatalytic performance. The employed experimental techniques are fine and the discussion section is very well addressed.  The manuscript reports a substantial body of results and it seems a well done job.

In this manuscript the authors have presented their results on the newly synthesized carbon quantum dots-modified Bi4Ti3O12 square plates for the photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B as a model pollutant.   These synthesized materials were thoroughly characterized.  This is an interesting study in the field of nanotechnology and adds to the environmental remediation applications. It is a well written manuscript and a few minor suggestions are given below:

 

Table 1: It should be visible light instead of UV light

 

Table 1 and Fig. 4 can be placed after the Characterization data (Fig 5 – Fig 9).

We thank very much the Reviewer for reviewing our manuscript and give a positive comment. In Table 1, we corrected “UV light” to “visible light”. The main reason we placed Table 1 and Fig. 4 before the Characterization data was that we firstly determined the optimal composite sample and then made the corresponding characterization on it. We think readers can accept this arrangement of data and analyses. We tried our best to polish the English language.
