Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Specific recommendations are as follows:

(1) Please make a discussion on the carbon capture costs in the introduction.

(2) It fails to discuss on what the basis for the deviation penalty for renewable energy units is. Please make additional remarks.

(3) Please simplify the description on the ADMM method since this approach has widely used already.

(4) Since thermal power units can provide the regulation services for wind turbines, why not trade regulation capacity in the auxiliary service market? If considering transactions in the ancillary services market, the premise of thermal power units' willingness to participate in the tripartite transaction is that the benefits of participating in the alliance are greater than the benefits of participating in the ancillary service market.

(5) It is mentioned in this paper that the current cost is the key factor restricting the application of carbon capture. Please make the recommendations more meaningful for reducing the cost of carbon capture based on the research results.

Reviewer 2 Report

I would like to thank the authors for this nice work. The research objectives of this paper are clearly stated.  I have the following questions and suggestions in order to improve the paper:

1. Is there any limitation of this study? If yes, the abstract should also include the limitation of this newly proposed model

2. Page 1 Ln 13: “The one” should be “One”. Page 2 Ln 62: "the them" should be "them". Page 3 Ln 130: "their" should be "they". Etc... Pay attention to grammar.

3. Equ (17), what does Cw represent? Equ (33, 34), what do these omega represent? Parameters should be clearly explained.

4. Ln 409 to Ln 414: The weighted sum of the wind turbine declaration positive deviation after the wind turbine combined with thermal power unit and carbon capture equipment is more than that without combination of other resources, is it possible that only the negative deviation is considered in the regulation service? If yes, what will happen to the regulation electricity provided by thermal power unit and carbon capture equipment?

5. If the positive deviation of the wind turbine electricity is stored properly and used when the negative deviation happens. Is it a better way to save the cost without combining with the thermal unit?
