Reviewer 2 Report

This paper presents a well-written, compact review of the Berry phase of non-adiabatic (irreversible) non-hermitian quantum mechanical systems using a geometric and thermodynamic approach. Dissipative systems are analyzed in particular. I found the paper very educational and interesting. The underlying physics is well explained for the non-expert. It should attract many interested readers. The paper is very appropriate for Entropy.
