Agronomy | Highly Cited Papers in 2023–2024 in the “Agricultural Biosystem and Biological Engineering” Section

The Section “Agricultural Biosystem and Biological Engineering” aims to publish papers in the areas of agricultural biosystem development, bioprocesses, and bioproducts through an integrative approach involving agronomical practices and agricultural engineering. Papers should consider these areas on a whole-plant or system basis. Also, authors are encouraged to submit research regarding the rational manipulation of biosystems through metabolic engineering techniques to provide new biocatalysts to improve cropping agronomy. Manuscripts concerning the new design, improved simulation, experimental validation, and economic outcomes of biosystem engineering are also welcomed.
