Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Veterinary Sciences


Veterinary Sciences (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/vetsci; ISSN 2306-7381) is indexed by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), with an impact factor of 2.304 (2020), and has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus. To ensure maintenance of the high-speed development of our journal in the near future, we are currently recruiting prestigious scholars from around the world to join our Editorial Board for the following 10 Sections:

The main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members are as follows:

  • Pre-checking and making decisions for several (12 per year, on average) manuscripts, based on your area of expertise;
  • Acting as, or recommending, a Guest Editor for a Special Issue on a topic related to your research interests;
  • Promoting Veterinary Sciences and increasing its visibility on related academic social media.

The benefits of becoming an Editorial Board Member (EBM) include the following:

  • The opportunity to publish one paper, free of charge, per year in Veterinary Sciences, as well as certain discounts for papers invited from your scientific network;
  • A certificate recognizing you as an Editorial Board Member of Veterinary Sciences;
  • Veterinary Sciences may offer sponsorship for conferences organized by you;
  • Veterinary Sciences may offer travel grants of CHF 300–500 per year for conferences that you attend or organize.
