Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The escalating impacts of climate change and the urgent need for carbon neutrality have propelled low-carbon transitions to the forefront of global agendas. Digitalization (e.g., big data, AI, BT, IoT) offers unprecedented opportunities to optimize supply chains, reducing inefficiencies and emissions, while the circular economy (CE) promotes resource loops to minimize waste—collectively, these pillars are critical for sustainable development.
This Special Issue aims to bridge this gap by deepening innovative research on the optimization of digital supply chains and circular economy to advance low-carbon goals. It aligns with studies focusing on sustainable operations, green and digital technologies, and circular business models, enriching the discourse on carbon reduction and sustainable development.
We are pleased to invite contributions from researchers, practitioners, and academics to explore innovative approaches, methodologies, and case studies that bridge the gap on the optimization of digital supply chains and circular economy. Topics of interest encompass a wide range of subjects, from digital supply chain management and circular economy in low-carbon futures.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Operations management;
- Logistics and supply chain management;
- Environmental sustainability;
- Green sustainability;
- Sustainable business model;
- Circular economy in the context of logistics and supply chain management;
- Green logistics;
- Carbon policy.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
