Best Paper Award
The Sustainability Best Paper Award is granted annually to highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. Evaluation committee members will choose three research articles and one review of exceptional quality published in the journal the year before last, with the winners announced online by the end of February.
The Prize:
– Three research articles and one review will be selected.
– One review award: CHF 500, an e-certificate, and a free voucher for article processing fees valid for one year.
– Three research article awards:
a. First prize: CHF 800, an e-certificate, and a voucher to cover applicable article processing charges (valid for one year).
b. Second prize: CHF 500, an e-certificate, and a voucher to cover applicable article processing charges (valid for one year).
c. Third prize: CHF 300, an e-certificate, and a voucher to cover applicable article processing charges (valid for one year).
Eligibility and Requirements:
– All papers published in the Sustainability are eligible for this award (both regular and Special Issue submissions).
Selection Criteria:
– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
