Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue on “Perioperative Precision in Modern Anesthesia: Efficacy and Safety of Pharmacotherapy with Risk Modulation" aims at exploring the latest advancements, challenges, and best practices related to anesthesia regimens and related adverse events.
The provision of a comprehensive overview of the pharmacological agents commonly utilized in anesthesia practice focuses on issues of great concern to everyday practitioners, mainly related to new clinical applications of already used drugs, their safety profiles, and emerging trends aiming to achieve therapeutic goals intended to boost the quality of anesthesia.
A multidisciplinary approach addressed in this Special Issue relates to key fields such as quality in anaesthesia, perioperative drug management, putting stress on interactions between drugs used in the perioperative period, as well as heralding new techniques in regional anaesthesia, etc.
Therefore, authors are encouraged to submit original research, review articles, as well as additional analysis of risk factors of incidence of already published rates of incidence of adverse events, as additional analysis that could potentially add to designing personalized strategies for optimizing patient outcomes, ensuring smooth postoperative recovery by taking countermeasures to prevent unwelcome complications.
Each type of the above-mentioned publications, similarly contributing to the understanding and advancement of anesthesia pharmacotherapy, is equally welcome to fit the scope of the current Special Issue.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Pharmaceuticals is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
