Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Clinical guidelines are informational documents that include recommendations aimed at optimizing patient care. Evidence-based clinical guidelines are built on systematic reviews of scientific evidence, high-quality randomized clinical trials, and an assessment of the benefits and harms of different healthcare options. A large volume of information on and variability in the quality of scientific information have been generated in recent years in the area of health, so there is a need to create syntheses that facilitate access to this information and allow for scientific recommendations based on evidence that can provide support for the scientific quality of decision making, for health professionals, managers, and patients. This Special Issue of Life will be dedicated to publishing the best articles that reflect efforts and innovations related to clinical guidelines in the area of health. In this Special Issue, we hope to bring together the best clinical guideline articles that reflect the best current scientific evidence. All submissions will be selected and peer-reviewed to ensure their quality and relevance.
