Land Best Paper Award is granted annually to highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. The evaluation committee members choose six articles of exceptional quality that were published in the journal the year before the previous year and announce them online by the end of April.
The Prize:
Review:
– The first prize: CHF 600 and a chance to publish a paper (article/review) free of charge in Land in 2025 after peer review;
– The second prize: CHF 400 and a chance to publish a paper (article/review) free of charge in Land in 2025 after peer review;
– The third prize: a chance to publish a paper (article/review) free of charge in Land in 2025 after peer review;
– Each winner will also receive an electronic certificate.
Article:
– The first prize: CHF 500 and a chance to publish a paper (article/review) free of charge in Land in 2025 after peer review;
– The second prize: CHF 300 and a chance to publish a paper (article/review) free of charge in Land in 2025 after peer;
– The third prize: a chance to publish a paper (article/review) free of charge in Land in 2025 after peer review;
– Each winner will also receive an electronic certificate.
Eligibility and Requirements:
– All papers published in Land will be eligible (both regular and Special Issue submissions).Selection Criteria:
– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.
