Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Addictive disorders represent complex and multifaceted diseases that continue to impact individuals and communities worldwide. Each person’s experience with addiction is unique, influenced by factors such as co-occurring mental illnesses, trauma, genetics, and social environments. As a result, professionals in the field employ a range of evidence-based approaches to address the diverse needs of those affected. This Special Issue focuses on the rapidly evolving landscape of addiction treatment, encompassing behavioral, pharmacological, and genetic therapeutic strategies. Recent advancements in artificial intelligence and innovative therapeutic technologies are transforming the way clinicians understand and treat addiction, enabling more precise and personalized interventions.
We invite authors to contribute original research articles and reviews that highlight emerging therapeutic approaches for addictive disorders.
