Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce a Special Issue dedicated to exploring the innovations and current challenges in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. This issue aims to highlight the opportunities and challenges within this dynamic field, including innovative techniques, and the evolving landscape of patient care.
The current research in this field showcases the utilization of advanced imaging techniques, microsurgical precision, and tailored procedures to optimize outcomes. Yet, the field is still grappling with clinical complexities, such as achieving the perfect balance between personalization and maintaining safety and effectiveness.
We invite for submission original research articles and reviews on the following themes:
- Recent advancements and technological innovations in facial plastic surgery;
- Challenges in surgical techniques and outcomes;
- Psychological and social implications of facial reconstructive procedures;
- Patient safety and postoperative care;
- Interdisciplinary approaches to facial reconstruction;
- Minimally invasive procedures for facial treatments.
We invite clinicians, surgeons, and clinical researchers to contribute their original research and insights to advance our collective understanding of individualized plastic reconstructive surgery.
