Best Paper Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the “Galaxies 2023 Best Paper Award” for research and review articles published in Galaxies from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023. One paper will receive the award. The paper will be selected after a thorough evaluation by the journal Award Committee led by the Editors-in-Chief, Dr. Margo Aller and Dr. Jose L. Gómez.

Eligibility for the Award:
– Papers published in Galaxies from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023;
– Open to all career levels;
– Both regular and Special Issue submissions will be considered.

Selection Criteria:
The paper will be selected by the journal Award Committee according to the following criteria:
– Scientific merit and broad impact;
– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– Clarity of presentation;
– Citations and downloads.

The Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A chance to publish a paper free of charge in Galaxies in 2025 after peer review;
– A certificate.

The winner will be announced on the journal website on 30 April 2025.
