Multimedia content, including encyclopedias, is becoming increasingly popular in the modern publishing industry and, thus, familiar to readers. It would, therefore, be great to publish peer-reviewed multimedia content in Encyclopedia (ISSN: 2673-8392) specifically in the form of field guides, a type of article impressing readers with images or illustrations, especially in the area of natural sciences.
Field guides are resources that include images or illustrations to help readers identify various natural elements such as plants, fungi, animals, minerals, fossils, and rocks. They typically focus on a specific area or region, such as a national park, island, city park, or country, presenting a diverse range of organisms or objects with clear visuals highlighting key characteristics necessary for identification.
Scholars are welcome to contribute high-quality field guides to Encyclopedia. In these, authors are encouraged to use their own high-resolution images (minimum 1000 pixels in width or height, or 300 dpi or higher), and, while there is no length restriction, a minimum of five images is recommended.
More detailed information about field guides can be found at the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/encyclopedia/instructions.
