Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The emerging blockchain technology has transformed the way how multiple parties reach a common and trustworthy consensus in trustless systems. Owing to its fascinating tamper-proof nature, the blockchain technology has opened a new avenue for distributed storage and computing, and has found promising applications in Smart Cites, like secure data sharing, identity/device management and access control for electronic health records (EHRs). The goal of this Special Issue is to provide a forum for worldwide researchers to share their innovative ideas and latest findings in the application of blockchain in Smart Cities, and also to discuss the challenges we are facing or will face to reap the full benefits of blockchain for Smart Cities. This Special Issue covers (but is not limited to) the following topics:
- Innovative applications of blockchain for Smart Cities
- Optimization of blockchain for Smart Cities
- Design of novel blockchain for Smart Cities
- Blockchain-based access control in Smart Cities
- Blockchain-based data sharing in Smart Cities
- Blockchain-based identity management in Smart Cities
- Attacks and defenses on blockchain platforms in Smart Cities
- Automatic security verification for blockchain system in Smart Cities
