Best Paper Award

The Diversity Best Paper Award is granted annually to highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. The evaluation committee members select four exceptional articles that were published in the journal the year before last and announce them online by the end of June.

The Prize:

– Three research articles and one review will be selected.
– The review award comprises the following: CHF 500 and the chance to publish a paper, free of charge, in Diversity in 2026.
– The three research articles will receive the following:

      Rank 1: CHF 500 and the chance to publish a paper, free of charge, in Diversity in 2026;
      Rank 2: CHF 300 and the chance to publish a paper, free of charge, in Diversity in 2026;
      Rank 3: CHF 200 and the chance to publish a paper, free of charge, in Diversity in 2026.

Eligibility and Requirements

– All papers published in Diversity will be eligible (both regular and Special Issue submissions).

Selection Criteria

– The scientific merit and broad impact of the paper;
– The originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented;
– The creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts;
– The clarity of presentation;
– The number of citations and downloads.
