Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic were around the world since year 2019. The effect of COVID-19 in children is usually mild but some are susceptible to a novel disease as Kawasaki-like disease, also known as the multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C). Kawasaki disease (KD) is different with MIS-C in age, severity, clinical presentation, susceptibility, immune response, cause and therapy. Coronary artery involvement, BCG vaccination relationship, mucosa/skin manifestations, and treatment strategies showed some over-lapped between KD and MIS-C. This special issue focus on articles regarding comparison between KD and MIS-C.
