Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Deregulation of the RAS oncoproteins may be the most frequent driver of human cancer. Recent developments in direct RAS inhibitors have raised the possibility of dramatic advances in patient care. However, they have also revealed new complexities in RAS function and the adaptability of tumors to develop resistance to monotherapy. In this Special Issue, we are particularly interested in studies that examine under-explored RAS pathways and signaling feedback systems, as well as the cellular response to RAS drugs and mechanisms of resistance.
The purpose of this issue is to present the new insights into under-appreciated RAS pathways and the signaling responses of cancer cells to anti-RAS drugs.
This Special Issue welcomes reviews as well as original research articles, which should be submitted by 15 October 2026.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2900 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
