Neurosurgical oncology stands at the forefront of modern medicine, a dynamic field where groundbreaking scientific discovery The challenges inherent in treating brain and spinal cord tumors are immense, often involving intricate anatomical structures, delicate neural tissue, and aggressive disease pathologies. Yet, fueled by an ever-deepening understanding of tumor biology and the development of cutting-edge technologies, neurosurgical oncologists are consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible. From minimally invasive approaches that reduce surgical morbidity to the integration of artificial intelligence for enhanced precision, the innovations emerging from laboratories and operating rooms worldwide are transforming prognosis and quality of life for patients facing these formidable diagnoses.

We believe that the contributions within this Special Issue will serve as a valuable resource for neurosurgeons, oncologists, researchers, and all healthcare professionals dedicated to the fight against neuro-oncological diseases. By showcasing the leading edge of innovation, we hope to inspire further research, foster collaboration, and ultimately, contribute to a future where brain and spinal cord tumor diagnoses are met with ever-increasing hope and therapeutic success.
