Disparities in Thoracic Oncology Patients

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, titled “Disparities in Thoracic Oncology Patients”, discusses current and former knowledge of disparities that exist worldwide in patients undergoing thoracic surgery or being treated with systemic or radiation therapy for a variety of cancers, including lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mesothelioma, and other thoracic malignancies. Articles submitted to this Special Issue should have a special emphasis on thoracic oncology and how different subpopulations of the patients we treat have different sociodemographic and clinical factors, and how that relates to potential short- and long-term outcomes.

Manuscript Submission Information

Research articles, review articles as well as communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
