Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite researchers in neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, and related disciplines to contribute to our upcoming Special Issue, New Insights on Emotion Regulation.

Emotion regulation lies at the heart of human behavior, mental health, and adaptive functioning. As cutting edge methods continue to reshape our understanding of how brain, body, and environment interact to shape emotional experience, this Special Issue aims to showcase innovative work that pushes the field forward. We welcome submissions that include, but are not limited to:

  • Neural mechanisms of emotion regulation
  • Computational and network level approaches
  • Developmental, social, or clinical perspectives
  • Embodied and enactive frameworks
  • Translational and intervention oriented research

Our goal is to bring together a vibrant collection of studies and perspectives that illuminate emerging pathways in affective neuroscience and inspire new directions for future inquiry. We hope you will join us in contributing to this exciting issue.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
