
Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Alloys

Alloys (ISSN 2674-063X) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on all aspects of alloys science and engineering, published quarterly online by MDPI. We are currently seeking experts to join our Editorial Board and help guide the journal’s development.
The primary responsibilities of Editorial Board Members include the following:
- Pre-screening and making decisions on manuscripts related to their research interests;
- Setting up at least one Special Issue during their term, on a topic pertaining to their research interests (or supervising Special Issues related to their research field);
- Providing input or feedback regarding journal policies;
- Helping to promote the journal among their peers or at conferences;
- Attending Editorial Board meetings to suggest strategies for journal development;
- Reviewing manuscripts;
- Overseeing Guest Editor appointments and Special Issue proposals, check content for relevance and ensure the suitability of the material prior to the launch of Special Issues.

- Expanding your research network by collaborating with other Editorial Board Members of the journal.
Eligibility criteria for applicants:
- Having a PhD degree;
- Knowledge and experience in editing international journals;
- Published a certain number of research results with academic influence in related fields;
- Currently holding an academic position as a senior lecturer, associate professor, or professor.
