Drones (ISSN: 2504-446X) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published monthly online. The journal focuses on the design and applications of drones, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UASs), and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPASs), etc. Likewise, contributions based on unmanned marine/water/underwater drones, unmanned ground vehicles, fully autonomous driving, and space drones are also welcome. 

We are now recruiting Guest Editors for this journal. If you are an active researcher in the field and passionate about publishing drone research, please do not hesitate to contact us at drones@mdpi.com. 

The responsibilities of Guest Editors include the following:

• Defining the aims and scopes of Special Issues;
• Carrying out pre-checks and making final decisions as to whether a paper is acceptable (according to the review reports);
• Providing potential author lists and inviting high-quality contributions. 

The benefits for Guest Editors include the following:

• A certificate in recognition of your role as a Guest Editor of Drones;
• A book that could be published if more than eight papers are published in a Special Issue;
• Consideration as a Drones Editorial Board Member candidate if a Special Issue is successful.
