Cover Story: The 2nd International Electronic Conference on Forests—Sustainable Forests: Ecology, Management, Products and Trade (IECF2021) was successfully held online from 1 to 15 September 2021. Forests are major sources of energy and materials and will play a key role in the transition to a low-carbon economy. This conference provided leading scientists working in the field with an online platform on which to discuss these issues and share their latest research. The main topics and sessions of the conference are as follows: forest ecology and management; forest ecophysiology, genetics, and molecular biology; forest economics, policy, and social science; forest inventory, modeling, and remote sensing; wood science, forest products, and trade; forest wildfire hazards, risks, and other disasters; poster sessions.
