Cover Story: This volume of Proceedings gathers papers presented at the 4th International Electronic Conference on Geosciences (IECG 2022), which collected contributions concerning seven thematic areas as follows: Natural Hazards; Structural Geology and Tectonics; Sedimentology and Stratigraphy; Geomorphology; Geological Engineering; Mineralogy, Petrology and Volcanology; Seismology; and Geoheritage. We thank attendees for their participation and conference committee members for reviewing the papers.
