Cover Story: We investigated the forces on a mannequin when pulled at various angles and in two types of grain. Pulling the mannequin at more acute angles than 30 degrees significantly increased the force required to pull out the mannequin. In addition, the force required to pull out the mannequin was not significantly different in corn and soybean when pulled straight up or pulled out at obtuse angles. View this paper
