Cover Story: Chatbots are widely used in the customer services context today. People using chatbots have pragmatic reasons, like checking the delivery status and refund policy. The purpose of the paper is to investigate whether the entertainment or competence of chatbots affects user experience and chatbot service quality, which influence user satisfaction and electronic word-of-mouth. It also discusses the formation of electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) about the brand or company via chatbots because eWOM is exceptionally significant nowadays due to the rise of social media.
