Cover Story: Nowadays, the business innovation process finds itself in the context of digitalization combined with globalization. Actions of exploration and exploitation of knowledge are formed with a complex organizational structure of network companies. The number of companies that have come to rely on ecosystems for innovation to obtain knowledge and resources has increased on a large scale. This trend requires organized companies, “supported” in an ecosystem in which different stakeholders legitimize a synergistic connection of resources to generate innovation and superior performance in a uniform way, highlighting the ability to integrate information resources and share knowledge. Entrepreneurial ecosystems and the companies that develop in them present a true social responsibility towards the community, making it increasingly sustainable. View this paper
