Cover Story: Bluey, a celebrated Australian children's TV series, blends educational and cultural value with entertainment, offering realistic portrayals of social learning within family life. Rooted in Australian society, it reflects the nation’s customs, values, and natural settings, providing a unique resource for teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and cultural awareness to non-native learners. This study analyzed all 52 episodes of Bluey's first season, identifying 1223 verified cultural elements across nine categories, including animals, lifestyles, and devices, among other ones. The findings underscore Bluey’s potential to enrich primary education by integrating Australian culture into EFL teaching, broadening perspectives beyond British and American norms. View this paper
