In the general introduction of the TiO2, many references are dropped and some sentences are mentioned without any references, for example, Page 3, Paragraph 2, the first two paragraphs are without any refs. for these sentences, we have many refs such as: Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, 2021, 297, 120380; Inorg. Chem. Front., 2021, 8, 4423-4430. Authors should also note that for the figures are reused here in this manuscript, it should be clearly stated that it is reproduced by permission from ref. X. I think the copyrights of the figures for the MDPI journals are not for free. Authors should make sure before publishing the paper.

Our Response: Thank you for your valuable comment. We added the references and also cited the given references in the mentioned paragraph of page no 3. We added “it is reproduced by permission from ref. X” in the caption of every reused figure. We also took permission licenses of the reused figures for this review article.
I hope this revised version of manuscript is suitable for the publication.
