
Journal of Clinical Medicine | Highly Cited Papers and Hot Topic Special Issues in the “Infectious Diseases” Section
We are pleased to introduce the highly cited papers and hot topic Special Issues in the “Infectious Diseases” Section of the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM, ISSN: 2077-0383). The aim of this Section is to publish articles describing research in microbiology, immunology, epidemiology and related disciplines regarding the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on the role of infections in the pathogenesis of chronic non-infectious diseases and the treatment of infections as comorbidities of chronic diseases. The subject areas include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Allergic diseases;
- Malignant diseases;
- Chronic infections;
- Infectious diseases;
- Acute infections.
