Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Novelty electronic and mobile technology is increasing in demand for fulfilling global health needs, especially in the pandemic era. Emergency trauma care faces critical barriers, especially in rural and less developed areas, regarding the accessibility of care, human manpower, and physical resources. Mobile health and telemedicine have proven to bridge these gaps, especially during the early management of the COVID era. New initiatives promoting the use of these technologies in the acute or early phase of trauma management support the highest level of expertise and care, even in the most remote settings. This Special Issue aims to present primary and secondary studies, including experimental, quasi-experimental, and observational studies related to the use of mobile health and telemedicine initiatives in the management of trauma care worldwide. Given your expertise and contributions to this area of science, I encourage you to submit your work to this Special Issue to make your findings available for the emergency and trauma medicine community worldwide.
