Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The continued evolution of health care has required institutions to develop novel health care delivery systems to meet patient needs. Health care administrators develop these alternate strategies to positively impact patient care, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Pharmacists serve as integral team members during these times of change. In addition, emerging technological advancements can provide tools, helping to further develop unique ways to meet patient care needs. Pharmacists must build relationships with other professionals to improve these systems for successful and sustained innovations. As pharmacy leaders we are called to create, implement, and maintain these systems to evolve with the changing health care environment, setting strategic goals for the future of pharmacy practice.
