Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Cereals have been the basis of the human diet since ancient times, providing nutrients such as carbohydrates and proteins. Dietary guidelines around the world regard grains as the most basic food source. There is growing evidence that minor cereals and whole grain also have the ability to improve health. In general, minor cereals and whole grains can promote the health of intestinal flora, regulate the metabolism of sugar and lipid, and maintain normal body weight. With the deepening of precision nutrition research, the research on the synergistic effect of precision compounding between minor cereal and minor cereal, and between minor cereals and whole grains is gradually deepening. Exploring the synergistic effect of precision nutrition of minor cereals is conducive to promoting the development of minor cereals and whole grains industry and improving the health of consumers.
