Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for nearly 10 million deaths in 2020. Nurses play a crucial role in cancer treatment. Due to advancements in treatments and innovations in medicine, patients with cancer are living longer, requiring a multifactorial holistic approach in which nurses, due to their skills and knowledge, can be best utilized. This Nursing Reports Special Issue on “Advances in Nursing Care for Cancer Patients” will provide a platform to highlight the issues and challenges faced by nurses caring for cancer patients in hospital and community settings (e.g., symptom management, informational needs, etc.) and present evidence-based nursing care. Also, we are interested in papers that examine the psychosocial impact of cancer care on nurses, showcase novel and innovative ways of delivering patient care (e.g., telehealth, digital health etc.), and consider the organizational and management challenges of providing a safe and effective nursing service.
