Dear Colleagues,
Nanomedicine offers significant potential for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Various strategies, including in vivo imaging, molecular diagnostics, and targeted therapy, have been applied in cancer, cardiovascular, and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as regenerative therapy, at both the laboratory and clinical trial stages. While new biomaterials and technologies—such as platelets, the designer protein corona, and mesenchymal stem cells—have been utilized in nanomedicine, concerns about the biosafety of nanomedicines at the tissue, cellular, and molecular levels have garnered increasing attention.
The scope of this Issue encompasses the recent advances in nanomedicine and its toxicological implications. We invite scholars to submit comprehensive reviews and original research articles that explore the potential, mechanisms, and biosafety of nanomedicines, as well as associated novel techniques, with the goal of paving the way for future translation and application.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
