Microorganisms | Hot Papers from the “Public Health Microbiology” Section

The “Public Health Microbiology” Section interprets diagnostics, prevention, and treatment at the population level, rather than at the level of the individual patient. The field covered is broad and includes zoonoses, pathogens transmitted in healthcare institutions, tropical infections, food hygiene, vaccine studies, and social and public health aspects of infectious disease. Papers covering microbiology and immunology that have public health relevance are part of this broad field.
