Dear Colleagues,
Neurocognitive disorders are a group of medical conditions which affect cognitive abilities rather than a known psychiatric illness. Neurocognitive disorders impose a massive economic burden largely driven by caregiving and lost productivity. Our goal is to publish the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases so that these practices can benefit all stakeholders who have been affected by neurocognitive disorders. We are pleased to invite you to contribute your work to this Special Issue, which offers rapid review and fast publication processes.
This Special Issue welcomes manuscripts which focus on recent progress/advances in the diagnosis or treatment of different neurocognitive disorders. Manuscripts which include innovations on diagnosis accuracy, new diagnosis methods, or improved treatment approaches are strongly encouraged.
Suggested themes and article types for submissions:
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following: neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntingdon’s disease; vascular diseases including strokes and transient ischemic attacks (TIAs); traumatic brain injury (TBI); substance use disorder (SUD); and infections and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, etc.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Life is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
