Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce a forthcoming Special Issue that explores “Innovation in Rheumatology: Advances in Diagnostics, Therapeutics and AI Applications”. This edition will explore advancements driven by technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), new diagnostics and therapeutics, personalised medicine, wearable technology, nanotechnology, and gene therapy, aimed to improve patient outcomes and addressing unmet needs. This comprehensive edition aims to shed light on the latest advancements, challenges, and innovative approaches within this multifaceted landscape.
This Special Issue will focus on innovation in a range of autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue diseases, and vasculitides. We invite contributions showcasing cutting-edge research methodologies, diagnostic tools, and therapeutic interventions designed to enhance patient outcomes. Insights into novel biomarkers, personalised medicine approaches, and emerging treatments (such as biologics and immunotherapies) will be crucial in this discussion. We welcome articles based on original research, reviews, and selective case reports that are unique, novel, and have the potential to change clinical practice. We encourage researchers, clinicians, and experts in the field to share their insights, research findings, and perspectives in this Special Issue as we strive for a better understanding of autoimmune diseases in rheumatology and work towards improved therapies and outcomes for patients.
