Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Cardiomyopathy represents a complex group of diseases affecting the heart muscle, leading to structural and functional abnormalities. Advances in research and clinical practice have provided deeper insights into all kinds of factors underlying cardiomyopathies. From hypertrophic cardiomyopathy to dilated and left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathies, the understanding of these conditions is evolving rapidly.

This Special Issue aims to explore the multifaceted nature of cardiomyopathies, focusing on their causes, symptoms, and innovative care approaches. We invite authors to submit original research articles, reviews, and clinical studies on the following themes:

  • Clinical pathophysiology of cardiomyopathy;
  • Advances in diagnostic imaging and biomarkers;
  • Personalized medicine approaches;
  • Innovative therapeutic strategies, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions;
  • Long-term care and quality of life in cardiomyopathy patients;
  • Pediatric cardiomyopathies: unique challenges and treatments.

This Special Issue provides an opportunity to share cutting-edge findings and promote collaboration in the field of cardiology. We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions.
