Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Pediatric neurology and neurorehabilitation are among the disciplines currently developing rapidly. Progress in these domains is supported by achievements in a variety of fields, such as neuroscience, genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, neuroimaging, pharmacology, and many others. As a result, neurological disorders in children and adolescents are often diagnosed more accurately and quickly than just a few years ago. The mechanisms underlying neurological disorders are also better understood, which positively impacts the effectiveness of their treatment. Important changes are being observed also in the relationships between pediatric patients and medical staff. Now, more often than before, patients are treated as partners actively participating in the therapeutic process. This Special Issue of the Journal of Clinical Medicine is devoted to current issues faced by pediatric neurologists in their diagnostic and therapeutic practice in connection with these changes. We are interested in original research and review articles that can help further develop current knowledge and practice on the topic discussed. Please note that clinical research that does not adequately address the journal's purpose will not be considered.
