Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to a new Special Issue entitled “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Recent Clinical Advances and Future Directions”.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is one the most challenging disciplines in the field of medicine due to the complex anatomy of the region and the wide array of conditions that may involve different types of tissues. Furthermore, in this region, both aesthetics and function are crucial factors, and achieving successful treatment results mostly depends on a precise diagnosis and an appropriate personalized approach.
This Special Issue aims to publish articles concerning the novel methods and protocols employed in the management of dentoalveolar and maxillofacial disorders, head and neck diseases, facial trauma, TMJ disorders, medication related osteonecrosis, and oral cancer.
In this Special Issue, all kinds of original research articles, systematic reviews and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include oral and maxillofacial surgery; MRONJ management; orthognathic surgery; temporomandibular joint disorders; maxillofacial deformities; maxillofacial trauma; dental implants; bone graft; maxillofacial reconstruction surgery; head and neck cancer; and oral and maxillofacial reconstruction and rehabilitation.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
