Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, "Allergic Diseases Across the Lifespan: From Infancy to Old Age", delves into the intricate landscape of allergic diseases at various stages of life. With an increasing prevalence of allergic conditions globally, this compilation aims to address the evolving challenges and opportunities encountered across the entire lifespan.

The Special Issue seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of the current research status in the field of allergic diseases, emphasizing their manifestation from infancy through old age. It aspires to identify core problems faced in understanding, diagnosing, and managing allergic conditions at different life stages.

Encompassing a wide spectrum of allergic disorders, from early childhood sensitivities to late-onset manifestations, the scope includes asthma, urticaria, drug and venom allergy, anaphylaxis, eczema, food allergy, and allergic rhino-conjunctivitis and allergic gastrointestinal disease. We invite contributions that explore the unique aspects of allergic diseases in each life phase, shedding light on both commonalities and distinctive challenges.

Researchers, clinicians, and practitioners are invited to contribute original research, reviews, and perspectives that enhance our understanding of allergic diseases across diverse age groups. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, this Special Ossue aims to drive advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and preventive strategies, ultimately improving the quality of life for individuals navigating the complexities of allergic conditions throughout their lifespan. Join us in unraveling the complexities of allergic diseases and charting a course toward a holistic understanding of their impact from infancy to old age.
