Inorganic Materials
A section of Inorganics (ISSN 2304-6740).
Section Information
The focus of the Section Inorganic Materials is on materials properties and the intriguing interplay between properties, structure and composition. In this context, materials can be inorganic compounds, composites, nano-confined, bio-inspired architectures or be based on ionic liquids or other concepts at the boundaries of the discipline. The scope of the section not only spans the development of advanced synthesis techniques and the varieties of approaches to access physical and chemical properties but also considers the application of theoretical approaches to gain a deep understanding of the origin of such properties. We are very dedicated to creating a sustainable future based on renewable energy and novel ground-breaking technologies are often based on novel materials. Our aim is to facilitate the publication of original fundamental science and forefront research within physical chemistry, chemical engineering and materials science at the boundaries with inorganic chemistry. Contributions such as original research articles, reviews, letters and communications will be considered.
