This Special Issue aims to bring together original research articles, systematic reviews, and comprehensive narrative reviews focused on recent advances in preclinical and clinical pharmacology, with particular emphasis on the molecular mechanisms underlying drug action, therapeutic efficacy, and safety profiles. Rapid developments in molecular biology, omics technologies, and translational medicine have significantly expanded our understanding of how pharmacologically active compounds interact with cellular and molecular targets, influencing both physiological and pathological processes.
In this context, elucidating the molecular basis of pharmacological responses is essential for improving drug development strategies, optimizing therapeutic interventions, and advancing personalized medicine approaches tailored to individual patient characteristics.
Our Special Issue also seeks to highlight innovative methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches that bridge experimental pharmacology and clinical application, facilitating the translation of laboratory discoveries into effective therapeutic solutions. By integrating molecular, cellular, and clinical perspectives, this collection aims to provide an overview of current challenges and emerging opportunities in modern pharmacological research.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process.
