Genes & Environments
Section Information
The aim of the section “Genes & Environments” is to provide highlights on research related to genes and environments in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. We welcome studies that focus on how genes and their products are regulated upon exposure to environmental cues. We also accept submissions that describe the responsiveness of mobile genetic elements upon exposure to both biotic and abiotic stresses.
Topics within the scope of this section include, but are not limited to:
- Regulation of gene expression;
 - Gene silencing and non-coding RNAs;
 - Epigenetics and epigenomics;
 - Genome organization;
 - Genome surveillance;
 - Mobile genetic elements.
