Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Forests are facing increasing challenges due to global environmental and economic pressures, making sustainable management practices more crucial than ever. This Special Issue aims to explore the latest advancements in optimizing the management and utilization of forest resources. We welcome research that addresses the practical application of optimization techniques in forest management, evaluates economic models for resource allocation, and discusses suitable management practices that balance ecological and economic outcomes. Submissions may include case studies, modeling approaches, policy analyses, and discussions of future trends in forest resources economics.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Economic optimization in forest resource management;
- Forest policy and sustainable management strategies;
- Forest supply chain optimization;
- Economic impacts of technological advancements in forestry;
- Climate change and its economic implications for forest resources;
