Dear Colleagues,
We are glad to extend a warm invitation to all colleagues who would like to submit their research papers to this Special Issue of Energies, entitled “Electric Propulsion and Energy Generation Systems”.
Electric propulsion and renewable energy generation systems represent feasible and attractive solutions for the reduction of fossil fuel dependency, with related impacts on environment and global warming.
The transition towards these kinds of systems calls for new challenges, related to the development of innovative technologies, modelling techniques and optimal control strategies in the fields of energy storage systems and power electronics, in order to enhance the performance of these systems and support their optimal integration with the existing power infrastructure, in the emerging smart grid scenario.
This Special Issue will address these topics as well as advancements in conductive/inductive vehicle charging technologies, MPPT methods for PV systems, management of distributed energy systems in supporting grid voltage/frequency regulation.
All types of research approaches are equally acceptable: experimental, theoretical, computational, and combinations of any of these.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
