Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Gastrointestinal diseases encompass a broad spectrum of neoplastic, inflammatory, vascular, infectious, and functional disorders, often requiring the integration of clinical, endoscopic, pathological, and imaging findings. Rapid advances in ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, molecular and hybrid imaging, and endoscopic techniques are reshaping lesion detection, characterization, staging, treatment planning, and response assessment. At the same time, quantitative imaging, radiomics, artificial intelligence, and structured reporting are creating new opportunities for more reproducible and personalized diagnostic pathways. We are pleased to invite you to contribute to this Special Issue, entitled “Advanced Diagnostic Imaging in Gastrointestinal Diseases”. This Special Issue aims to present innovative and clinically relevant research on established and emerging imaging approaches across the gastrointestinal tract. Original research articles, systematic and narrative reviews, technical studies, and clinically oriented perspectives are welcome.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following: multimodal imaging, quantitative biomarkers, artificial intelligence, image-guided decision-making, protocol optimization, diagnostic accuracy, and the translation of technological advances into improved patient management and outcomes.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Diagnostics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
